Why did you choose PNW?
I chose to attend PNW due to the many opportunities on campus. I have been able to participate and hold leadership roles in the Honors College, finance and accounting club, future leaders program, and the national collegiate honors college conference. After seeing all the opportunities available, it was an easy decision to attend such a great institute.
Why did you choose this major?
The College of Business at Purdue Northwest has been a wonderful resource throughout my time at Purdue Northwest. I have built a connection with my professors through my personal connections that has helped me obtain numerous internships. The professors are very approachable and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise.
Do you have a favorite faculty member?
As a student at PNW, my favorite faculty member is Debbie Bachmann. Debbie has worked with me many times during my time in Honors College Leadership. Debbie has always helped me when I needed advice or when I had a difficult problem I couldn’t answer. Debbie has helped me grow as a leader during my time at Purdue Northwest.
What is your most memorable experience on campus?
My most memorable experience on campus was receiving the opportunity to lead the Honors College Induction Day for incoming freshman. It was a great opportunity to introduce the new students to many opportunities at PNW and to show them what they will expect during their time here.
What would you tell prospective PNW students?
PNW has many opportunities for students of all majors – there are so many opportunities available on campus to help students succeed during their time at PNW. Professors are also always available to meet with their students and truly want them to succeed both academically and personally.
